This is despite the court’s decision to grant the People Against the Switch (PASS) their day in Court and the call to delay the switch until the Court has decided on the matter. Prime Minister Tuilaepa Lupesoliai Sailele Malielegaoi said yesterday that there is no connection between the PASS's case and the government plans and policies already set down. He added that one advantage of the switch is that it is be cheaper, and will provide equal opportunities for all people to have a vehicle. When asked if the government was planning to add more days to the two days holiday scheduled for September when the switch goes into effect, he said that there is a possibility that this can happen given that there is no provision in the Constitution forbidding a month long holiday…..PNS (ENDS) |
