PITIC's Tourism Promotion unit assists Pacific Island governments and private sector service providers in developing their tourism potential.

 

The Tourism Promotion Unit:

  • Supports PIC National Tourism Offices (NTOs) to develop and promote their tourism industries

  • Produces statistical reports on tourist movement between Australia and 14 PICs

  • Supports marketing activities of Ausralia based NTOs

  • Partners with NGOs to develop rural based tourism activities
